WWW tentu sangat akrab saat kita berselancar di dunia maya. Saat ini www telah melayani\u00a0 milyaran website, namun itu semua bermula 25 tahun yang lalu, dari sebuah proposal yang meminta agar www digunakan untuk memudahkan arus informasi di CERN.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Pada awalnya seorang pegawai komisi CERN (European Organitation for Nuclear Research), Tim\u00a0 Berners-Lee<\/a>, hanya ingin meningkatkan efisien untuk menaruh dan mengambil informasi di CERN. Istilah “internet<\/a>” pun saat itu hanya di kenal sebagai komputer yang saling terhubung saja.<\/p>\n

Hingga pada Agustus 1991, ia mempresentasikan proyeknya di grup berita dan memfasilitasi akses publik pada website pertama di dunia: http:\/\/info.cern.ch<\/a><\/p>\n

Website<\/a> ini masih bisa di akses hingga saat ini, meski halamannya telah mengalami rekonstruksi. Proyek laman pertama ini sangat sederhana hanya terdiri dari sederetan teks dan link. Bandingkan dengan berbagai website saat ini yang begitu menarik dan akses cepatnya saat ini. Ini menunjukkan betapa cepat perkembangan pembangunan website.<\/p>\n

HTML digunakan sebagai bahasa pemrograman yang memungkinkan pemformatan dokumen lain dalam bentuk dokumen teks. Browser yang pertama dibuat ia namakan “World Wide Web”, yang untuk selanjutnya akan mengalami perkembangan.<\/p>\n
